Shockwave Therapy in Brampton
Shockwave therapy is a non-surgical treatment for chronic pain. It uses high-energy acoustic waves delivered through the skin into the underlying tissue to break down scar tissue, stimulate blood flow and kick-start the body’s natural healing process.
It is particularly effective for conditions that have not responded to other treatments, including plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, Achilles tendonitis, tennis elbow and calcific shoulder tendonitis.

Benefits of Shockwave Therapy
Non-Invasive
No surgery, no injections and no medication – treatment is delivered through the skin.
Quick Sessions
Treatments typically take 10–15 minutes, with no downtime afterwards.
Stimulates Healing
Increases blood flow and cell regeneration in tissues that heal slowly on their own.
Proven Results
Often successful where rest, orthotics and other conservative treatments have failed.
What Is the Process?
Your therapist first locates the exact area to be treated, then applies a conductive gel to the skin. A handheld applicator delivers the acoustic pulses to the treatment area. Most patients require a short series of sessions, usually spaced about a week apart, and many notice improvement after the first few treatments.
Is It Right for Me?
Shockwave therapy is well tolerated by most people. Some patients experience mild discomfort during the session and temporary soreness afterwards. During your assessment we will review your medical history to confirm the treatment is appropriate for you and explain the expected number of sessions.
